## Description

A warm, resinous amber with a rich, balsamic depth — sweet without being sugary, and dense enough to anchor complex blends or carry a composition on its own. The character is the classic resinous type: smooth, slightly vanilla-adjacent, with a honeyed warmth and a dry-down that stays close to the skin and lingers.
Works well in:

Soy and paraffin candles — excellent hot throw; a dependable base that adds warmth and depth to oriental and gourmand blends
Body and perfume oils — long-lasting on skin; functions well as a fixative and as a primary note in warm, skin-scent compositions
Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — may contribute light amber discolouration in uncoloured batches; worth testing
Reed diffusers and room sprays — rich and room-filling at moderate usage rates
Wax melts and tart warmers
Bukhoor blends — a foundational note in traditional compositions alongside oud, rose, and musk
