Olfactive Description: Floral, Herbaceous, Camphorous
Rich and beautiful, Lavender (Bulgarian) is an aromatic floral essential oil steam distilled from the stems and flowers of certified Bulgarian lavender. Lavender sourced from this region is known for its deeper, more fixative scent and has a more heady, multidimensional aroma than its French counterpart.
We’ve tested this essential oil in a variety of products and recommend Lavender (Bulgarian) essential oil for use in reed diffusers, candles, wax melts, and tarts. It performs beautifully in bath and body products like soap and lotion.
Candle Maker’s Notes:We’ve found that this essential oil has a strong hot throw in candles with a lovely, aromatic burn. It rates three leaves out of three on our soy performance scale, making it one of our top essential oils for candle making.
