Blackcurrant Perfume Oil

Dark and tart with a sharp, almost astringent opening that's distinctly blackcurrant — fruity but with a dry, slightly earthy edge that separates it from sweeter berry accords. There's a natural green-leaf quality in the top that adds to its raw, unprocessed character. It deepens on the dry-down into a richer, jammy base with good staying power.

Works well in:

• Soy and paraffin candles — strong cold throw, holds well in container wax
• Body and perfume oils — skin-safe at standard dilution, distinctive and long-lasting on skin
• Melt-and-pour and cold process soap — stable, watch for potential violet discolouration in cold process
• Wax melts and tart warmers
• Reed diffusers and room sprays
