Chypre Perfume Oil

A classic chypre accord — oakmoss and labdanum at the base give it a dry, earthy resinous depth, lifted by a bright bergamot top that fades into a cool, mossy heart. The overall character is sophisticated and structural: neither sweet nor overtly floral, with a slightly powdery drydown that has good skin tenacity. This is a foundational accord for complex blending work.

Works well in:

• Perfume and body oils — excellent longevity on skin, suits eau de parfum concentrations
• Soy and paraffin candles — performs well in wax, throws the mossy-citrus character cleanly
• Reed diffusers and room sprays — the dry, green complexity works well in ambient applications
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — stable, minimal discolouration expected
